about.
A redesign of Zazie’s restaurant website focused on clarifying its brand, improving navigation, and creating a more convenient online reservation experience across mobile and desktop platforms.

problem.
Zazie’s existing digital experience did not clearly communicate the restaurant’s identity, and its reservation journey relied heavily on third-party services. Customers needed a clearer way to understand the restaurant, explore its offerings, and reserve a table, particularly for popular brunch periods and larger groups.
user flow.

visual identity & design system.
We developed a responsive design system inspired by Zazie’s existing visual identity and physical environment. The colour palette, typography, imagery, and interface components preserve the restaurant’s welcoming character while creating a more consistent and accessible experience across mobile and desktop.

reflections & takeaways.
This project strengthened my understanding of how information architecture, visual identity, and reusable components work together across responsive experiences. I learned to translate an established restaurant brand into a coherent digital system, design a consistent reservation journey for mobile and desktop, and collaborate with a team while maintaining shared design standards.
